About Me

Sabrina L  Colvin

Sabrina lives on a small farm and is married to a tree farm manager.  She is a mother of five beautiful daughters.  When the girls were younger, she enjoyed creating stories to entertain them, and hopefully get them to fall asleep.

Now her little girls have grown to young ladies, and four of them have graduated college and are living on their own.  Except for Laura, her second oldest child who has autism and other disabilities. Sabrina cares for Laura fulltime, and has also taken care for her 5-year-old grandson since birth.

Laura grew up on a tree farm with her four sisters that did their best to pull her out of her own little world of autism. They included her when playing Barbies, Legos, and other games.  In high school, her sisters made sure she had a spot with them at their lunch table or by their sides eating cheese fries at the football game.  They included her on an amazing senior prom night, and continue to be her best friends.  Though her family, friends and teachers all rallied around Laura, she still struggled through school.  Both her love of reading and her ability to draw became apparent in the 8th grade.  Her art work has improved over the years and she has used her creativity to make the Colvin Family Christmas cards for several years now.

Sabrina and Laura work together, using their talents in order to encourage others facing struggles to persevere and continue to follow their dreams.
